Entrepreneur Latoya Nicole has created another self-care tool for black women. After releasing her â24 Shades Of Businessâ and âAlma Materâ coloring books, she is now launching a coloring app called Color XO.
Color XO is a pixel art coloring app that is “full of melanin skin tones and lots of black girl magic” and offers relaxation at your fingertips.
Nicole said that she focuses on coloring because it is one of the main activities that can relieve stress.
“Black girls are awesome in everything we do, from artistic creation to motherhood, and we can be so self-sufficient and sacrificed to ourselves that we can sometimes forget the importance of self-care,” he said. she said in a statement. âI hear black women so often talk about stress at work, and coloring is an activity that allows us to distract our brains from other thoughts and focus and focus only on the moment, which can help reduce stress. stress.”
Nicole said after doing some research she saw it was time to make her coloring books digital.
âBy doing more research, I noticed that African Americans use smartphones more than any other group. This is why it was important for me to create options, so I decided to create this color app. by numbers for a little fun and relaxation.
